Aloha 6/12/13

Aloha,

The weeks are speeding by so quickly.  I got a cute picture of my grandson, Josh in his Scout uniform headed to camp from June 4-8th.   Have fun and get lots of merit badges.

Wednesday, we went visiting with Sis. Rowland from Waianae 1st Ward.   We were able to visit several sisters and after grabbing a Jamba juice, I met Sis McGiven and Sis Rowland for salad at the Pizza Hut.  She is so good about visiting each week.

Of course, we attended the temple on Thursday and we always have a special day feeling the wonderful spirit in the Temple.

Friday, we had our District Meeting in Makakilo and we were able to see all the changes that were made to our Zone.   We focused on making sure the LA were contacted and to continue to do as Dan Brown did on his mission.   Laser focus and work hard and have fun.  

We listened to a talk in our District meeting by Jeffrey R. Holland entitled "Oh, Lord, Keep My Rudder True."   We now have Elder Green and Gardner in the Tongan Branch.  The M&M Sisters' and the G&G Elders!!!   We took a picture of our new Zone so we could send it to the Daltons' before they leave on the 30th.   We also attended our Branch meeting and headed home right after.  Sunday they announced that the dinners on Friday were finished.  Yeah!

On Saturday, we attended a baptism in the Stake Center.  Sis. Flores and her companion taught a young boy and the family all attended and many Ward members.  It was a wonderful baptism.

Sunday was our Fast and Testimony meeting and my ear phones seemed scratchy...so I just felt the Spirit of the testimonies.   We met with the Young Women for opening exercises in Relief Society.  They are such beautiful young women.  We also had a short testimony meeting in Relief Society and we had a visitor, Alma, that was really touched by the spirit.

We have called some of the RS Presidents' of the Stake and offered our help visiting and hope to start next week.   The Tongan Branch attended the temple on Tuesday night, but we went early afternoon and attended a session.  We were able to get home early and prepare for our Tri-Zone meeting on Wednesday the 12th.  More next week.

Happy Fathers Day this Sunday to all the wonderful fathers out there.  I truly love my sons', Brian, Shane, Kevin and Jared and my wonderful sons'-in-law, Matt and Mark.  Ah!  The M&M sons-in-law!!!  Have a special day.
